Preparing for winter camp can be just as exciting as the camp itself! Whether it’s your child’s first winter adventure or they’re a seasoned camper, packing smart helps them stay comfortable, confident, and ready for fun — no matter how chilly it gets outside.

Here’s your go-to guide for what to pack (and what not to) for a smooth, stress-free winter camp experience.

🧥 What to Bring

âś… Warm Layers:
Think lots of layers — T-shirts, jumpers, and a weatherproof coat. Layering helps your child stay warm outside and cool off when indoors.

âś… Waterproof Coat & Boots:
Even if it’s not snowing, expect wet grass and puddles. Waterproof outerwear is a must.

âś… Spare Clothes:
Pack at least one extra set of everything — socks, trousers, gloves, and hats. You’d be surprised how fast things get muddy or damp!

âś… Hat, Scarf, and Gloves:
Warm accessories make a huge difference during outdoor play. A fleece or knitted set works perfectly.

âś… Water Bottle:
Hydration matters even in cold weather. A reusable bottle keeps things eco-friendly.

âś… Healthy Lunch & Snacks:
We encourage nutritious, balanced lunches to keep campers full of energy throughout the day.

âś… Label Everything:
It’s amazing how similar everyone’s jumpers look — labels help make sure everything goes home with the right person!

đźš« What to Leave at Home

❌ Nut Products:
Our camps are strictly nut-free to protect children with allergies. Please double-check lunchboxes and snack packs.

❌ Electronics:
Phones, tablets, and gaming devices are best left at home — we want campers focused on play, not screens!

❌ Valuables or Sentimental Items:
Things can get lost in the excitement. Keep precious items safe at home.

❌ Large Bags or Heavy Luggage:
Pack light — everything should fit into one backpack or small holdall.

đź’ˇ Pro Tip:

Pack together with your child! It helps them know what’s inside their bag (and where to find things during the day).
